| Numeric Search |
|
The Search Archive page allows a user to search for
radar data entries. The parameters and
search options are:
- Radial search centered on a specified latitude
or longitude, with the radius given in kilometers
- Latitude (both negative and positive values are supported)
- Longitude (both negative and positive values are
supported)
- Date
- Track
- Frame
- Orbit
- Sensor
- Location - which server(s) you plan to download datafiles from
- Comments - many of the entries have extra information
concerning a specific baseline entry. The format in
the comments field is: sensor, orbit, and baseline
parallel. These values correlate with the b_perp
field
for the
entry. To get a full listing of baselines, click on
the * link next to the baseline perpendicular.

The Map Search allows a user to search for radar
data entries by choosing points on a map.
Toolbar Description:
- Shift View - this mode allows you to pan around the map by dragging it, as you would a .pdf document in Adobe Acrobat. To be able to do this, you cannot be at the outermost zoom level (i.e., you must have zoomed in at least once).
- Select Region - this mode allows you to select a group of points on the map. Doing so should fill in the track and frame ranges corresponding to your track and frame ranges.
- Zoom In - enlarge an area of the map
- Zoom Out - view more of the map at once
- Select All - select all map points
- Select None - deselect all map points

Numeric/Map Search Page:
The new search page, which allows you to specify numeric and map criteria simultaneously, should look like this:

After specifying all the numeric and map criteria that you want the returned entries to satisfy, click "Search Archive"
to run the query.
Search Results Page:
| In the upper righthand corner of the search results page, you will see a table of the "location" icons. The color of an entry's location icon tells you where the datafile lives, and the text within the icon tells you the file format. More information on the various file types and locations is given in the following table: |

The search results page should look like this:

| A page similar to the one above should
be returned. The "location_list" column contains
links to the actual data files. Click on a link
to start a download.
To sort by a category, click the category name at the top of the table. Note that this will sort all the entries that were returned, not just the entries on the current page. You'll automatically be sent to page
1 after re-ordering the results, so that you're looking at the entries with the highest values in the category you just sorted by.
For the entries whose "preview" column contains a thumbnail image, you can view the full-size image in a separate window by clicking on the thumbnail.
The "*" links in the b_perp column will
link to a page containing baselines.
